FORT WAYNE, IN. (August 10, 2015)—Effective October 1, 2015 the corporate offices of Rea Magnet Wire Company, Inc. will relocate from 3600 East Pontiac Street to 3400 East Coliseum Boulevard, Suite 200, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
The move ends over 80 consecutive years of business on Pontiac Street. Formerly a foundry, the Pontiac Street location was originally leased in 1933 and has the distinction of producing Rea Magnet Wire’s first order—10,000 pounds of 38 gauge enameled wire on three-inch spools for the Jefferson Electric Company.
